Brighton gun robbery teen suspects held

Three teenagers have been arrested after a 35-year-old man was hit over the head with what appeared to be a gun, during a robbery in Brighton.

The man was attacked with what is thought to be a silver handgun in Upper Hollingdean Road at 00:15 BST, Sussex Police said.

Two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old were later arrested by armed police officers in the Lewes Road area.

They remain in police custody. Any witnesses are asked to contact police.

During the attack, the victim sustained a head wound that required stitches, police said.
