Woman, 60, sexually assaulted at her Peacehaven home

A 60-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted at her home in East Sussex.

It happened at about 18:00 BST on Tuesday when a man called round to look at an item she had advertised for sale.

The offender, who fled her Peacehaven home on foot, was described as white, aged about 25, 5ft 11in tall and slim, and with a quiet, husky voice.

Det Con Sheila Nicholson, of Sussex Police, said the victim was very shaken "not least because it happened in her own home and was totally unexpected".
