Greenpeace shows support for Sussex fishermen

Global environmental campaign group Greenpeace anchored its ship Arctic Sunrise off Hastings to show support for the campaign to increase fishing quotas for small boats.

Local politicians, MEPs and fishermen were invited on board to discuss reform of the EU's Common Fisheries Policy.

Arctic Sunrise was on the final leg of a European tour which has been backing sustainable fishing carried out by fleets of small boats, such as those in Hastings and Eastbourne in East Sussex.
