Charlie Hancock death: Man charged with murder

A man has been charged with murdering a pedestrian who died following a suspected hit-and-run incident.

Charlie Hancock, from Pagham, died in hospital on Tuesday after being hit by a car in Rowan Way, Bognor, on Monday.

Sussex Police said Walter Brazil, 41, of Collyer Avenue, Bognor, had been charged with the murder of the 20-year-old man who had a young son.

Mr Brazil has been remanded in custody to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on Friday.
