Another Level's Dane Bowers pleads not guilty to assault charges

Former Celebrity Big Brother contestant and Another Level singer Dane Bowers has pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault, following an alleged brawl.

He was the headline act at Butlin's in Bognor Regis when the fight was said to have taken place on 20 April.

The 33-year-old DJ from Coulsdon, Croydon, appeared at Worthing Magistrates' Court.

Mr Bowers and two other men were released on bail until the trial at Chichester Crown Court on 29 October.

Wade Bowers, the singer's 31-year-old brother, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine, and not guilty to using threatening words.

Terry Kean, 35, entered the same pleas to both charges.

The singer became famous in the 1990s as a member of R&B band Another Level.

He appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2010.
