Man charged over Bognor Regis throat-slashing

A man accused of slashing another man across the throat with a knife has been charged with attempted murder.

Police were called to an address in Collyer Avenue in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, on 17 February.

A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital in Chichester and was later discharged.

A 24-year-old, from Bognor, is due to appear at Chichester Magistrates' Court later. His mother is due to appear at the same court on 20 March charged with assisting an offender.
