Teenager to perform with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

A 15-year-old Sussex cellist will become one of the youngest people to play with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) when it performs in Crawley.

In May, Laura van der Heijden from Forest Row won the BBC's Young Musician prize for 2012.

She performed part of the third movement of Dvorak's Cello Concerto for BBC South East Today, ahead of her appearance with the orchestra at Hawth Theatre and Arts Centre on Saturday.
