Brighton brain injured man 'improving'

A man who suffered life-threatening injuries during an incident in Brighton is "improving", police have said.

The 20-year-old man from Lancing was picked up by ambulance from outside the Lola Lo club in East Street on Friday.

Police said he started complaining of a head pain and was later diagnosed with an extensive inter-cranial bleed.

Sussex Police said he was being treated at Hurstwood Park Hospital in Haywards Heath and his "condition was improving".

The force said it was unclear how he had received his injury.
