Pedestrian killed in Southwater crash named

Crash scene at the A24 in Southwater Sussex Police said the driver of the car was unhurt in the collision

A man who was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on the A24 in West Sussex has been named.

Skender Plaku, 40, from Mulberry Lane, Goring, was hit by a car as he walked on the southbound carriageway near Southwater on 23 December.

The driver, a man aged 50 from Partridge Green, was unhurt in the crash which happened at 23:30 GMT.

Police have urged anyone who saw Mr Plaku before or at the time of the collision to contact them.
