Sussex man, 90, dies after car collision in Chichester

A 90-year-old man who died when his car veered into the opposite lane and crashed may have suffered a "medical episode", Sussex Police say.

The man, from Chichester, was driving a Honda Jazz along Westhampnett Road, in Chichester, at 15:10 GMT on Monday.

Police said his car veered in the opposite lane and collided with a Peugeot 306 driven by a 63-year-old woman. She was uninjured.

The man was taken to St Richard's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
