Bognor cyclist dies from head injuries after crash

A cyclist who was knocked off his bike in a collision in Bognor has died of his injuries.

The 23-year-old man collided with a silver VW Passat in Shripney Road, on Friday at 15:20 GMT.

He was taken to the neurological centre at Southampton General Hospital with serious head injuries, but died on Sunday morning.

The driver, a 41-year-old man from Chichester, was unhurt. Police have appealed for witnesses.
