Worthing teenager charged after stabbing

A 16-year-old boy from Worthing has been charged with wounding with intent and attempted robbery after a stabbing in the town.

A 20-year-old man, also from Worthing, was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with two stab wounds to his back after the attack on Thursday.

He has since been discharged. The stabbing took place in Pavilion Road about 14:30 GMT.

The teenager is due to appear before Worthing magistrates later.
