Worthing stab victim airlifted to hospital

A man in his 20s has been airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in the shoulder in West Sussex.

Police believe the victim was stabbed by a man in Pavilion Road, Worthing, at about 14:30 GMT.

He was flown to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment. Officers said his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

A Sussex Police spokesman urged anyone who witnessed the attack to contact officers.
