Sussex Police: Men stamp on victim's head

A teenager has been attacked by several men and held down while two of them punched and stamped on his head.

Sussex Police said the 19-year-old was taken to hospital with head injuries after the attack in Gloucester Mews, near Gloucester Road, Brighton.

Det Sgt Steve French said it was a sustained attack by at least four men.

He urged anyone who saw the attack on Sunday to contact the force. The victim has been treated in hospital and discharged, he said.
