Burglar writes 'apology' on Bexhill victim's door

A burglar who broke into a home in Sussex wrote an apparent apology on a broken door after stealing more than £1,300 of jewellery.

The thief broke in through the back door of the home in Meads Road, Bexhill, on Wednesday.

On the bottom panel of the door they wrote "SORRY MUCH LOVE?" in black ink.

A watch, silver sapphire ring and gold ruby ring were stolen between 07:45 and 18:00 BST.
