Megan Stammers: Jeremy Forrest flown back to UK
Jeremy Forrest did not fight extradition proceedings in France
A teacher arrested on suspicion of abducting 15-year-old Sussex schoolgirl Megan Stammers will appear in court on Thursday after arriving back in the UK.
Jeremy Forrest, 30, of Ringmer, East Sussex, is expected to appear before Eastbourne magistrates charged with child abduction.
He arrived at Gatwick Airport earlier on a flight from Bordeaux in south-west France, where he was held last month.
Mr Forrest and Megan took a ferry from Dover to Calais on 20 September.
The information which led to the pair being found came as a result of media coverage in France, and followed appeals from their families.
Mr Forrest is a maths teacher at Bishop Bell C of E School in Eastbourne, which Megan attends.
The teenager returned home on 29 September to be reunited with mother, Danielle Wilson, and stepfather, Martin Stammers.
