There are winners and losers among businesses affected by road closures and diversions near Brands Hatch in Kent, the venue for the Paralympic cycling events.

Petrol station managers Kumar and Judie Asokkumar said they believed the restrictions, in place until Saturday, would cost them £30,000 in lost custom.

But Derek Mathews, manager of the Oasis Cafe, said his takings had doubled since the beginning of the week.
