Pair deny Jeffrey Burrows stabbing murder in Brighton

Two men have pleaded not guilty to murdering a widower who was found dead at his flat in Brighton.

Joel Elliott, 22, of North Road, Brighton, and Adam White, 22, of Bedford Place, Liverpool, are accused of killing 40-year-old Jeffrey Burrows.

Mr Burrows, who lived alone, was stabbed at his home in Norfolk Square, on 29 April.

The men were remanded in custody by Lewes Crown Court, and a trial date was set for 1 October.
