Coach blaze causes M25 traffic delays

M25 coach fire Smoke billowing across the carriageway caused two lanes to be closed

Motorists were warned to expect delays after a coach caught fire on the M25 in Surrey.

About 20 firefighters tackled the blaze, which started at about 07:45 BST on Tuesday between junction 8 near Reigate and 9 near Leatherhead.

A spokeswoman for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said nobody was reported to have been injured.

Two lanes of the clockwise carriageway were closed because smoke was blowing across the motorway.
