Horsham Town Hall to become restaurant, council decides

An unused town hall in West Sussex will become a restaurant after councillors agreed to lease the building.

Restaurant chain Bill's was offered the lease on Horsham Town Hall.

Horsham District Council considered four bids and the authority will retain ownership of the building.

Deputy leader Roger Arthur said the restaurant had agreed to pay for the building's continuing maintenance, running costs and spend £750,000 on renovations and improvements.
