"Members of each group are known to each other and during the incident the 19-year-old victim has been punched to the head, causing him to fall to the floor."

Mr Saunders played for Peacehaven Football Club where his father is the first team manager.

A spokesman for the club said: "Connor was a brilliant guy, was never any trouble to anyone, he was brought up the correct way, and we're totally devastated. Our thoughts are with his family."
