A West Sussex detective sergeant who was arrested on suspicion of gaining unauthorised access to information has had his bail extended.
The officer, based at Horsham, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office in relation to the force computer systems in December.
He was suspended from duty after being interviewed by police.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said the officer's bail had been extended until 7 March.
