Man in wheelchair on Ben Nevis reaches top of mountain
A car accident left Barry West from Framfield in East Sussex unable to use his arms or legs, but that has not stopped him reaching the peak of Ben Nevis, thanks to his team of "human huskies".
Mr West was taken up the Scottish mountain - the UK's highest peak - in his purpose-built homemade wheelchair by a team of climbers.
In the past few years he has learnt to scuba dive, ski and sky dive, and said he saw his disability as an opportunity to experience what life has to offer.
His team is now planning an ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro.
