Horsell knifeman tried to remove victim's clothes

A woman was grabbed and threatened with a knife before her attacker tried to remove her clothes, police have said.

The victim, in her 20s, was grabbed from behind by a man as she walked along Bullbeggars Lane in Horsell, Surrey, on Friday night.

The man, who police said had a Jamaican accent, forced her to the ground and threatened her with the weapon before trying to take off her clothes.

The woman fought him off and he fled. Officers are appealing for witnesses,

The attacker is described as black and was wearing dark clothing and black shoes with red soles, a Surrey Police spokesman said.
