Woman raped by man walking her home in Bognor

A 23-year-old woman was pushed against a van and raped by a man who offered to walk her home after a night out in West Sussex.

The victim was crying when she was approached by a man on a bicycle at 01:20 BST on Saturday in Station Road, Bognor.

After talking they went into one of his friend's houses, before carrying on their journey towards Swansea Gardens.

Then as they got to Norfolk Square, he raped her near a garage block.

She managed to escape and was collected by a friend.

The offender is described as being in his 20s with short brown hair and stubble. He was wearing a grey hoodie and baggy trousers, and spoke with a Birmingham accent.
