A woman who was found dead in a property in Walton-on-Thames has been named as 56-year-old Jacqueline Hansen.

Her body was found on Wednesday by Surrey Police who forced their way into a house in Trafalgar Drive after a report of concern for her safety.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Thursday was inconclusive.

A man in his 60s from Weybridge was arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed until 25 July while the police investigation continues.

"Our thoughts are with Jacqueline's family and we are continuing to provide support to them at this extremely difficult time," said Det Ch Insp Nancy Greenslade-Jones

"Our officers are working hard to establish the circumstances surrounding Jacqueline's death.

"In the meantime it would be wrong to speculate on the cause."
