Armed gang rob busy Dorking pub

Watermill Inn in Reigate Road The robbers left in a dark hatchback-style car, Surrey Police said

Staff at a busy pub in Dorking were threatened by a gang armed with a gun during a robbery on Friday night.

Three men wearing balaclavas went into the Watermill Inn in Reigate Road at just before 22:30 BST.

One stayed at the door while the other two approached the cash desk. Staff were threatened with a handgun before cash was taken.

All three fled on foot before getting into a car in a lay not far away, Surrey Police said.

Their vehicle was described as a dark hatchback-style car, which was driven off without lights, police said.
