Essex man charged with Lyne car park stabbing

A man from Essex has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed in a car park in Surrey.

The victim, in his 40s, suffered injuries to his chest and back in the attack at a business address in Hardwick Lane, Lyne, on 22 February.

Surrey Police said a man from Chelmsford would appear before Redhill Magistrates' Court on 17 March after being charged with the stabbing.

The 43-year-old has been remanded in custody.
