Surrey Police arrest woman after Warlingham death crash

A woman in her 50s has been arrested after a crash in Warlingham in which a motorcyclist died.

Surrey Police said a Honda motorbike was in a crash with the woman's Smart car and then two other vehicles crashed at the scene in a second collision.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and was being held in custody.

Two other people, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with injuries.

Anyone who saw the incident in Old Farleigh Road, near the junction with Farleigh Court Road, at about 08:00 GMT, is asked to contact the force.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, has not yet been named.
