Surrey Police arrest two men over Ewell boy stabbing

Two men have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed during a brawl in Surrey.

Officers said the attack happened during an altercation involving a large group of of teenagers in Ewell on Monday.

Police said the men, both aged 25, were being held in custody on suspicion of GBH after being arrested early on Tuesday.

Officers said the boy's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

He was taken to hospital with stab wounds after the incident in Hogsmill Way in the Watersedge area at about 19:30 GMT.

It is not clear how many people were involved in the altercation but officers believed they were all known to each other.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.
