Surrey Police secretary in court on fraud charges.

A member of Surrey Police's secretarial team has appeared in court charged with three counts of fraud.

The charges Helen Tye, 44, of Godalming, is accused of relate to a voluntary role she had with a local organisation.

Ms Tye appeared before Aldershot magistrates on Thursday and was bailed to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 9 October.

She is currently suspended from her staff role at Surrey Police.
