Surrey M3 bridge work brings lower speed limit

Narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed limit are due to be put in place from Sunday as part of work to maintain a bridge over the M3 in Surrey.

The work is part of a six-week scheme which started on Tuesday to replace concrete and steel barriers with a new steel barrier to protect the bridge supports between junctions 2 and 3.

Lanes are currently closed every night between 22:00 and 05:30 BST.

The narrow lanes and 50mph limit are due to be removed on 12 May.
