Worst Surrey roads to be mended
The worst roads in Surrey are to be resurfaced thanks to more than £100m of council money.
Most of the 310 miles (500km) of road that will be overhauled was nominated by the public, the county council said.
Each district will have 10% to 13% of its worst roads revamped over the next five years.
John Furey, councillor responsible for transport, said the authority was "investing in Surrey's future prosperity".
