Thieves steal gold and passports from Woking home

Four men forced their way into a home in Surrey stealing gold and passports from the occupants.

Surrey Police said the thieves pushed their way into the house in the Westfield area of Woking on Wednesday at 14:30 GMT.

Two women, aged 55 and 34, were at home, one of whom was grabbed by the neck and forced to the ground while the men searched the house.

The burglars left after one of the victims escaped.

Police described them as white men, aged between 15 and 20, who were all wearing woolly hats with ear flaps.

Det Con Yahya Aslam said: "This was a truly terrifying experience for the victims who were relaxing in their home when this gang barged in.

"It is pure luck that neither woman was not hurt but it has left them feeling extremely shaken and vulnerable."

Police said two men, aged 19 and 23, are currently on bail pending further enquiries.
