Tadworth care home criticised over 'care and support'

A care home in Surrey has been criticised for failing to provide the correct care and support for its residents.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has demanded urgent improvements at La Luz Residential Home, in Tadworth.

Following an unannounced inspection of the home, the CQC said it failed to meet standards in four of five areas.

The manager of the care home said he would challenge the report, believing 90% of it to be "inaccurate".
