Two pedestrians hurt in Epsom multi-storey car park

Two pedestrians have been seriously hurt in Epsom after they were hit by a car in a multi-storey car park.

A woman in her 20s suffered serious leg and pelvic injuries and an older woman suffered serious head injuries following the collision at 10:05 BST.

The driver of a silver Nissan Micra, a woman in her 80s, was not injured.

Level three of the car park, which is linked to the Ashley Centre, is currently closed. Police have appealed for witnesses.

Both of the injured women were taken by ambulance to St George's Hospital in Tooting for treatment.
