Ground and air searches are being carried out in Surrey by police hoping to find a 22-year-old woman who has not been seen for three days.

Officers said they were working with Surrey Search and Rescue in the hunt for Heilike Vahi.

Miss Vahi, who was last seen at her home in Hydestile, near Godalming, at 15:30 GMT on Wednesday, is originally from Estonia.

The search is being concentrated on the Hydon Heath and Busbridge Woods area.

'Great concern'

Miss Vahi is known to regularly walk from Hydon Heath towards Godalming via Eaton Green and Busbridge Woods.

Sgt Diane Bookham said her disappearance was out of character and of great concern to her family in Estonia and friends in Surrey.

She is described as white, of a fair complexion, with dyed orange dreadlocked hair, and blue eyes.

She has piercings to her right wrist, and nose, and wears glasses.

Anyone who sees a woman matching her description has been asked to call Surrey Police.
