Surrey Police arrest three boys after Oxted sex attack

Three teenage boys have been arrested after a serious sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl in Surrey.

Surrey Police said the girl was attacked in Master Park, off East Hill Road, in Oxted, on Saturday night.

Officers said she had spent the evening at a nearby fairground with a friend and was walking through a wooded alley alone when she was attacked.

A group of men approached her and engaged her in conversation before sexually assaulting her, police said.

After the incident between 20:30 and 20:50 BST, police spoke to people at the fairground and reviewed CCTV footage.

A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, both from Redhill, and a 15-year-old boy from Guildford were arrested and were being held in police custody.

Officers have urged anyone with information - particularly anyone who was at the fairground and who may have seen or heard something out of the ordinary - to contact the force.
