A man is being treated for a knife wound at Epsom General Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and making inquiries near the Queen's Head pub in South Street in Epsom after a disturbance was reported on Monday night.

Surrey Police want to speak to the driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra who is believed to have brought the man to hospital at about 2200 BST.

It is not known how the wound to the 36-year-old's left forearm was caused.
