Lakenheath rape: Man arrested over car park attack

Mill Road, Lakenheath The pub car park is on Mill Road, just off the High Street in Lakenheath

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in a car park in Suffolk.

The sexual assault was reported to have taken place at The Plough on Mill Road, Lakenheath between 01:00 and 01:30 BST on Sunday.

The pub, just off the High Street, has been rebranded as the Wok n Rock restaurant and bar.

Suffolk Police said the man was arrested on Monday night and was released on police bail until October.
