Martlesham Heath death: Scott Ellis appears in court

A man accused of murdering a 39-year-old woman whose body was found at her Suffolk home has appeared in court.

Scott Ellis, 42, of Tunstall Green, appeared at South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court before he was transferred to Ipswich Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody and is due to return to the court on 5 September.

Police found the body of Jane Bartholomew in Martlesham Heath at about 21:00 BST on Friday. She had died of head injuries.
