Drug smuggler Jak Marku, missing from HMP Hollesley, found in Amsterdam

A drug smuggler, who absconded from HMP Hollesley Bay open jail in Suffolk, has been found in Amsterdam.

Jak Marku, 25, was serving a sentence of nine years and six months for importing cocaine.

He was given permission by the prison to visit Southall, west London, on 28 February, but failed to return when he was due on 4 March.

Suffolk Police said they have been advised that Marku has been located and detained by Dutch police.
