Motorcyclist dies in collision with car on A12 at Carlton

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Suffolk.

The man was riding his bike on the A12 at Carlton when it was in collision with the car at about 19:10 GMT, Suffolk Police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Part of the road has been closed while an investigation is carried out.

A 43-year-old woman from the Saxmundham area, who was driving the car, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
