Arrest after woman raped in Ipswich's Cromer Road area

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in Ipswich.

The 27-year-old victim was walking from Norwich Road to Cromer Road on Monday when a man approached her at about 20:30 GMT.

She was attacked after being grabbed and pulled in to a wheelie bin storage area.

Suffolk Police said a man had been arrested and was being interviewed at its Martlesham police investigation centre.
