Body discovered in Orwell Country Park reed bed

A body which appears to have been in a reed bed for "some time" has been discovered, Suffolk Police has said.

A member of the public reported seeing the body at Orwell Country Park, in Nacton, at about 09:50 GMT.

Police said they thought the body was a man and said it "appeared to have been there for some time".

The death is being treated as unexplained. The body has been recovered and taken to Ipswich Hospital, police said.
