Suffolk North Sea rescue: Boat fire drama caught on camera

The three-man crew of a boat which went up in flames managed to scramble on to a life raft before the vessel sank in the North Sea.

The ECC Topaz was 10 miles off Lowestoft when it caught fire. Lowestoft lifeboatman Phil Cors said the smoke was visible nine miles out to sea.

The men were winched to safety by a helicopter from Wattisham.
