A man has been charged with attacking a man who was found stabbed in a flat.

The 42-year-old victim was found stabbed in the flat in Dillwyn Street, Ipswich, on 4 January.

Police arrested a man and a woman early on Friday. They said the 18-year-old man, from London, had been charged with wounding with intent and appeared before magistrates earlier.

A 25-year-old woman from Ipswich arrested on Friday has since been released on police bail.

She was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.

Two women aged 44 and 24, who were both arrested earlier this month, have also been bailed.

Police said the attacked man is still in hospital in a stable condition. His injuries included a collapsed lung.
