Second woman arrested over Ipswich stabbing

A second woman has been arrested over the stabbing of a man in Ipswich.

The man, 42, remains in a stable condition in hospital after being found injured at a flat in Dillwyn Street at just after 18:40 GMT on Saturday.

A 44-year-old woman from the Ipswich area has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

On Sunday, a 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.

Both women have been bailed pending further inquiries.

The man is being treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for injuries including a collapsed lung.
