Two men who were arrested after a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg have been released on police bail.

The victim, from east London, was found by a member of the public in Cordy's Lane, Trimley St Mary, near Felixstowe at 13:00 GMT on 28 December.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital and discharged the following day.

Two men, aged 25 and 27, from the Felixstowe area, were held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. They have been bailed until 3 April.
