Colton Bridgeman admits mugging Ipswich pensioner, 89

A man has admitted robbing an elderly man who was mugged twice in three days in Ipswich.

The 89-year-old was robbed of money in Wingfield Street on 8 August and again on Foundation Street on 10 August.

Colton Bridgeman, 19, of Weavers Court in Harwich, was charged with the second robbery and with the theft of a woman's purse on Bond Street in 12 August.

He pleaded guilty at Ipswich Crown Court and will be sentenced at a later date.
